Add the peanuts to a food processor or high-powered blender. Blend for 3–5 minutes, scraping down the sides as needed. The peanuts will go from crumbly, to thick paste, to clumpy before finally becoming smooth and creamy.
Once smooth, add the honey and sea salt. Blend again until fully combined.
If you prefer a thinner, drippy peanut butter, blend in 1–2 teaspoons avocado oil.
Transfer the peanut butter to a glass jar with a lid and store at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
