That’s when I took a closer look at the ingredient list and realized something—once again, I already had most of these ingredients sitting right in my pantry! Not only is this homemade version cleaner than store-bought, but it’s also so much more affordable. Here are the main ingredients you’ll need to make these easy homemade granola clusters. Be sure to check the full recipe card below for exact measurements.

  • Rolled oats: The hearty base that gives granola its classic texture. I opt for an organic sprouted oat for the best quality.
  • Chopped nuts: Add crunch, healthy fats, and a boost of protein. Plus you can choose your favorite or whatever you have in your pantry!
  • Unsweetened coconut flakes (optional): Brings a subtle sweetness and extra crispiness.
  • Cinnamon: Adds warmth and a hint of spice.
  • Salt: Enhances flavor and balances sweetness.
  • Honey or maple syrup: Naturally sweetens and helps the clusters stick together.
  • Melted coconut oil or butter: Creates a rich, crispy texture.
  • Vanilla extract: Rounds out the flavors with a touch of warmth.
